More about Sourcing

In the Sourcing Group a safe arena is provided for personal growth and women's issues explored through movement, vocalizing, and speaking our stories. We often witness each other and offer reflection, reporting our experience. Rituals and processes may be created in the moment to support individuals working at their personal edge of positive change.
We move in solo and with each other for exploration and insight, and for the fun and pleasure of it. (The premise being that health and enjoyment are connected!) Sharing laughter, tears, caring for each other and for our world, we allow our body selves to be fully present as we investigate, communicate, and play.

This is an ongoing group—once you have checked it out, a minimum commitment of six months is requested. For more information please call Julie.

Alternate Thursdays 10:30-12:45 held in the Westside, Santa Cruz

Julie has been facilitating and developing processes for these women’s groups for over 15 years. The many forms she draws upon include Continuum, Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation, Hakomi, Process Work, E’moceans and Sensations, and Ortho-Bionomy.

Details:
Group size is limited to eight.
My fee is $50-70 /month sliding scale for two meetings
Payment for each month is due on the second meeting of the previous month.
I meet first with any prospective group member to estimate compatibility both ways. After that you may attend once or twice to feel whether it’s what you are looking for. Then I ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months.
Each participant may miss one out of each season of eight meetings (4 months) and not pay or receive credit for it.

When thinking of leaving the group I ask that you talk to me about it. Participants planning to leave the group are asked to attend one group to tell everyone and one more for us to have closure with you.
